Edition 2025
At the beginning of the year 2025, the partnership to support performance sport with LPS “Bihorul” Oradea continued. An impressive sponsorship from our association to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Section of the “Bihorul” Sports Program High School of Oradea is happening at this time of the beginning of the year, when the trainings have been resumed in full force by the performance athletes. The 20 sportswomen who participate in national rhythmic gymnastics competitions have a complete set of brand-new equipment for competition preparation: ropes, ribbons, ribbon sticks, balls, ball bags, hair accessories, etc.nSponsorship is worth 2.000 euro and was made possible through the support of:
– the parents of the athletes who collected an impressive number of 3.5% forms with which a large part of the funds were raised
– coaches Cristina Lădescu and Alexandra Ille
– the management of “Bihorul” High School with Sports Program
– the volunteers of our association.
Edition 2024
In the year 2024, in September, the partnership in support of Romanian education continued with LPS “Bihorul” Oradea. Thus, from the sponsorships attracted from the company RUS & BEN Construct from Oradea, with the support of Mrs. teacher Șipoș Cristina, it was possible to equip with furniture (wardrobes) the second grade of the school.
In the spring of 2024 (March), at least 200 people were supported with hygienic-sanitary products: shampoo, antibacterial wipes, protective gloves, body care products), through partnership with different institutions. More than 2700 hygiene items donated as sponsorship from Sarantis Romania SA, through the FĂ BINE! community, reached the homes of our beneficiaries. In this endeavor we have been supported by partners such as CȘEI “Orizont” Oradea, the Orthodox Parish “Zorilor” Oradea, the Orthodox Diocese of Oradea, CSS “Bihorul” Oradea.
Edition 2023
In the run-up to Christmas, in partnership with CȘEI”Orizont”, the children of the school have been involved in activities to promote Christmas carols and Christmas traditions, by involving children with special needs in making holiday gifts that they themselves have offered to other children in a placement centre. The association offered 28 gift packages on this occasion.
Several meetings in October and November, in partnership with CȘEI “Speranța” and the church “Harul” in Zalău, were organized with the volunteers of our association (30 people), young people from the community, civically involved, who discussed the impact of volunteering on the beneficiaries, the community, but also on each volunteer. And in December 2023, we celebrated the Volunteering Day in Zalău, in partnership with CȘEI “Speranța”, members, volunteers, beneficiaries, on the occasion of which we also celebrated Santa Claus Eve, with gifts for the children.
In the summer of 2023, our association was a partner in the Ac*CES Hope Summer School and Ac*CES Hope Summer Kindergarten projects – with lots of activities spread over a week’s time where joy, friendship, responsibility, dedication, enthusiasm, will, hope and access shaped a colourful world full of activities and learning. In September, we became partners in the event “YES for INTEGRATION! “, run by a number of partners from Zalău, including Titan Arena, Gabriel and Brigitta Ardelean, CȘEI “Speranța”, our Association, and many other collaborators and sponsors, which took place on 15 September and was a day of celebration of the integration into society of children with disabilities from CȘEI “Speranța”, Zalău, through fascinating activities: various gastronomy workshops, sports, interaction with volunteers and the local community.
Also during 2023, our volunteers distributed 130 pieces of furniture and products for the home (desks, beds, lamps, bedside tables, bed linen), received as sponsorship from IKEA Romania, books and puzzles (250 pieces) received from Nemira publishing house, also 5 laptops were given to volunteer members of our association team, with the support of Fă Bine!
From 22 to 26 March 2023 in Oradea we organized the charity exhibition “But out of gift comes heaven”. More than 250 mărțișoare and flowers were manufactured by volunteers of our association: Daniela Jurjac, Prof. Simona Indrecan, Viorica Sărmășan. The spring exhibition was realized in partnership with the Orthodox Parish of Oradea. It was finalized by organizing a charity fair, which raised the sum of 1000 lei, which will be directed to a family in need in our community. Thanks to everyone who got involved!
For us, the year 2023 began with a sense of gratitude and concern for those in need. Several thousand hygiene items (disposable gloves, liquid soaps of various kinds, disinfectant gels, sanitising wipes, shampoo, care creams) were distributed to our beneficiaries and partners during January and February: people and families in need from Bihor and Sălaj counties, but also institutions where children from disadvantaged backgrounds attend school: “Speranța” Secondary School in Zalău, “Orizont” Secondary School in Oradea, or even mainstream schools where the collective has supply difficulties, such as “Ion Bogdan” Secondary School in Oradea, the Sports High School and the Sports Club “Bihorul” from Oradea. We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the sponsors Sarantis Romania SA and the partners of Fă Bine, who facilitated the donation. Thanks also to the volunteers involved in the project!
2022 Edition
On 15 December, the “BIHORUL” SPORTS SCHOOL awarded sports performance at the Sports Gala of the Year 2022 in Oradea. We had the honor to be present and to congratulate the best athletes of the year, offering prizes to 22 young gymnasts. Congratulations to all of them for their hard work and results! We congratulate the coaches, but also the parents who support you, day after day. We are happy to support performance in sport and we are glad that Romanian sport has an optimistic future.
In the first months of 2022, we distributed more than 3000 personal hygiene items to needy families in the counties Bihor and Sălaj. Also, 100 children with special needs from the two counties received school supplies, games and puppet theatres. For all this we are grateful to our partners from Sarantis Romania, Edu Class, Diana Publishing House and Fă Bine team!
2021 Edition
At the beginning of the year 2021, through the kindness of Do Good team, we received and distributed 110 game-boxes for children aged 3-10 years, from rural area who are studying at the primary school from Urmeniș, Bistrița-Năsăud County. The volunteer campaign continued distributing 150 disinfectants among our beneficiaries, for which we also owe gratitude to the Do Good campaign. And through a partnership with the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation from Bihor County we made a joy to people with disabilities distributing no less than 1500 corn-puffs packages also received as a donation in the Do Good campaign.
2019-2020 Edition
In December 2019, the project “Volunteers in action” brought joy to its 19 beneficiaries, children and adolescents with special needs, pupils of the Inclusive Education School “Speranța” from Zalău. The warm boots they received will allow them to enjoy the experience of the winter snow, without having to worry about frost. And at the beginning of 2020, in January, the project continued under the aegis “Giving gives you joy.” A group of 6 children from the Inclusive Education School “Cristal” from Oradea enjoyed packages received from volunteers of our association, consisting in winter jackets, leggings, clothes and games.
In December 2020, with the support of a team of sponsors and volunteers, we managed to offer 47 packages to children from Day Care Center from Oradea (Traian Lalescu street). In each bag, Santa put a letter, a pair of winter boots, a jacket, personal hygiene products, sweets and food. Santa was so generous that each bag weighted no less than 12 kg! And of course all the love and positive energy of the team: sponsors, members and volunteers of the Plai Transilvan Association. They worked hard to collect and distribute the packages so Santa to be satisfied: the children smiled and had a great joy.
2014-2015 Edition
It was a local project, with inter-county participation, initiated by APT in partnership with the Inclusive Education School from Șimleul-Silvaniei, “M. Eminescu” School from Zalău, Orthodox Theological Seminary ”Sf. Nicolae” from Zalău. It was implemented during the 2014 school year, continuing until the end of the school year in 2015. Unfolded on topics such as volunteering, education for human rights and promoting equal opportunities, the project was carried out within the National Strategy for Community Action and facilitated integration into the community of children with disabilities by carrying out common socio-educational activities, with pupils from partner schools and through activities dedicated to parents of children with special needs.
